Amitabh Reu Jalwa Zurich Switezralnd Europe Jhalak with Stuti Aga

Amitabh Reu  is a seasoned singer, stage performer and entertainer par excellence from New Delhi. He has sung for established music directors like Shantanu Moitra and shared the stage with the likes of Jagjit Singh and Parvati Khan. Apart from singing, he is a founder member of ODC, a drum circle that has performed at the Wagah Border and at the India International Music Festival.

After the stupendously successful Yaadon ki Baarat last year, where Amitabh enthralled audiences with his charisma, voice and stage presence, he returns to Zurich to perform at Jalwa.

Stuti Aga

Stuti Aga Dancing since the tender age of 7 and trained in both Indian classical and folk dance forms, Stuti is a veteran stage performer and was a founder of one of the first and highly successful Bollywood dance companies in the Zurich area. Her unique choreographies amalgamate the multi-faceted dance styles she is adept at.

Over the years, close to 250 students have trained under Stuti and she and her dancers have performed to packed houses all over Switzerland. She has been associated with the prestigious Zürich Tanzt event since several years.

Stuti’s quest and passion to introduce Indian art forms to the world at large is unceasing.

Riti Mukherjee has been a mainstay of the Indian community for the last two decades.  She is an entrepreneur, dancer and occasional writer who loves to sing. And those who have heard her certainly love to hear her sing! She will join Amitabh to entertain you to some lovely duets at JALWA. Do not miss!

Tsering Margey Indian cultural event Jhalak Jalwa with SADC and IAGZ

Tsering Margey hails from Tibet, grew up in Delhi and lives in Switzerland. An avid Kishore Kumar fan, Tsering started singing at the age of 5 and has continued this tradition, making regular stage appearances at Tibetan gatherings in Switzerland, belting out Bollywood songs. He is also a talented DJ. He will share the stage with Amitabh at JALWA to spice things up!

Feroza Simeon grew up in a musical family and is a highly-respected name in the community who needs no introduction. The stage is a familiar second home for her, and public performances, second nature. She sings and dances with equal skill and passion and you’re going to get a glimpse of that passion at JALWA!

Kiran Kishore has been dancing since the age of 5, and has a truly international dance background, having trained under various teachers in India, Switzerland, Scotland, and the UK (London). She has taught a weekly drop-in Bollywood Fusion class at the world-famous Pineapple Dance Studios in London for many years, and will be conducting several workshops at the upcoming Hamburg Dance Days weekend.

Nadia Saba Indian cultural event Jhalak Jalwa with SADC and IAGZ

Nadia Saba is a belly dancer and a whirling artist from Switzerland. 15 years ago, inspired by her enthusiasm for foreign cultures and mentalities, Nadia started bellydancing and it continues to fascinate her even today. She performs and teaches both in Switzerland and abroad.

Nilujan Rajenthiran Indian cultural event Jhalak Jalwa with SADC and IAGZ

Nilujan Rajenthiran. Having started dancing at a very early age, in the last 8 years Nilujan has been doing stage shows and has participated in various competitions and won many prizes including the top prize at the prestigious Isaithullal in 2016. He presently teaches Bollywood, contemporary, tamil folk and semi-classical at BollyStyle SDS, run by renowned Indian choreographer and actor Anish Rehman.

Rehna Sivarajan - Team SADC_Zurich

Rehna Sivarajan.Despite a busy working life, Rehna ekes out time to pursue her passion for dance. She has been dancing since she was 5, and has performed on many occasions, even proudly representing her school and college at interstate level. She continues her learning under actor/dancer Anish Rehman, of Bollystyle SDS.

Michelle Ferru Rehna is a Technical Assistant as profession and believes in pursuing her passion towards dance. She has been dancing since age of 5, performed on various stage representing her school and college at interstate level. She has mainstream in indian Cinematic performances and hip hop style. Additionally learning contemporary dance by famous actor/dancer Anish Rehman, under Bollystyle dance School.

Michelle Ferru has been learning and performing with Stuti Aga since 2012. But way before that, Michelle danced her way through various dance styles like classical ballet, hip hop, and ballroom dancing. Currently Michelle is teaching Standard and Latin dances in Zurich, a passion she shares with her husband, but continues to swing, hop, and clap to the rhythms of India.

Jhilam Mukherjee Indian cultural event Jhalak Jalwa with SADC and IAGZ

Jhilam Mukherjee Dance is an integral part of Jhilam’s life. She trained in the Indian classical dance form of Bharat Natyam as a child, and then  moved on to learn contemporary Indian dance forms, followed by Salsa. She regularly attends workshops with the aim to appreciate all forms of dance. For Jhilam, dance liberates her from the rigors of daily life. Her garners applause whenever she performs and this acts as a motivation for her to continue improving and reach newer heights.

Linda Frey was a fan of dancing in its myriad forms, already at a very young age. Once she discovered the exotic rhythms and moves of oriental dance at a workshop in 2009, there was no turning back. Since then, she has been training in various Indian dance styles and has performed with Stuti Aga in multiple shows.

Divya Hegde Despite a busy life with multiple roles and hobbies,Divya pursue’s her passion for dance though stage performances. Dance to her is like second skin. It’s a joy, it’s sheer magic that keeps her going. She has performed with Stuti Aga in multiple shows.

Mishi Agarwal A born dancer, Mishi’s first performance was at age 4. She trained multiple years in India under various dance masters and has performed at many shows. After stepping away from the lights to nurture her family and focus on her career, she now returns to the stage with a flourish in Jalwa.
