Dear Bhangra Enthusiasts,

As the Bhangra weekend approaches, I am eagerly anticipating our gathering at the workshop this Saturday. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone, here are some key details:

Arriving to the Workshop: Please arrive 10 minutes before the workshop starts.

  • Beginners: 13:30 – 15:30
  • Advanced: 16:00 – 18:00

Parking: There are 15 parking spaces available at the venue (marked in yellow in the attached image). Additional white zone pay and park spots are available nearby.

Public Transport:

  • Closest Train Stop: Zurich, Affoltern (S6 train)
  • Nearest Bus Stop: Zurich, Unteraffoltern (Bus 62)

During the Workshop:

Changing Area: While there is no dedicated wardrobe, a small enclosed area in the studio is available for everyone to change. Restrooms are also located outside the room.

Refreshments: We have organized Indian Chai and Samosas for everyone to recharge between workshops. Please bring your own water.

Attire: Wear anything comfortable, such as gym clothes, yoga pants, or an Indian kurta with leggings. Avoid skirts or jeans due to the dance style’s emphasis on leg movements.

Footwear: Most participants prefer to go barefoot, but if you’re uncomfortable, yoga socks or indoor sports shoes (with no black soles) are acceptable.

After the Workshop:

If you’ve enjoyed the workshop and want the complete experience, consider participating in the SADC Zurich student showcase on June 1st in Zurich. More information will follow after the workshop.

Within two weeks after the workshop, we will provide a private link to access music files, photos, and videos from the event. Your registration at the workshop permits us to upload the photos and video on Social media. If you would not like that, please let us know during the workshop, and we will take care of your request.

Looking forward to an incredible Bhangra weekend with all of you!
